Thomas spent the first phase of his career as a drummer in jazz, rock and electronica bands in San Francisco. After years of back seat driving, he steps out front with his first solo artist release, Sabi. A truly solo effort, this tight EP is built around the idea of life beginning and ending with solitude and how we make peace with it. Equal parts ambient texture and aggressive groove, Sabi is angular and tranquil, summarizing the japanese concept is was named after. Thomas further defines the solitary concept by playing all the instruments as well as engineering and producing his freshman release.
